Would Paul be great if wasn't a Beatle??

Postby dsnito » Wed Feb 12, 2003 5:27 pm

Well, I think this question sometimes came to almost everybody's mind but I ever wanted to know if our Macca would be that admired and loved artist IF(there I'm going again with IFS!!)he wasn't a former Beatle?? Or wouldn't be THE BEATLES that revolutionary group without Paul?? I DON'T KNOW!!! That's too hard to imagine!!! Well, thinking better... NO!!!Paul wouldn't be great without the Lads neither them without Paul!!![;)]Am I right or wrong??

Peace.

I think he needed John to make it really big. Maybe his own music doesn't stand out enough to be as big as he is now. I think his solo career was based mainly on the ex-beatle image, even though he tried not to.

I know for myself that I knew the Beatles first, and then got into Paul solo (I'm 20 years old, so I wasn't there). Is it the other way around for anyone? I can't imagine.

Well, according to John, Paul was not strong enough, George was too shy and Ringo was the drummer. This might add some insight into wether Paul could of had a strong enough personality to make solo from the beginning. Or, consider that maybe Paul could of hooked-up with another band. After all, it appears that Paul has always enjoyed being in a group situation more often then being solo.

It was fate and destiny that brought the Beatles together. If that had not happenned then we would never have heard of John, Paul, George or Ringo.

Like Brains said I got into the Beatles first and that's what got me intrigued into each member's solo endeavours.
