About Hey Jude´s chorus it makes me remind the Rio´s Maracanã Stadium crowd chorus in 1990... that was HISTORICAL!!! A big chorus with about more than 180000 voices singing Hey Jude, can you imagine it?? Macca really was very impressed and moved seeing and hearing that!!

Peace,

Nito, were you in attendance at that historical concert? I can't remember if you said you were or not.

Well, my friend, unfortunately I DIDN'T!![V] You may think it's a pity, don't you??
I just saw him on TV(Rio and São Paulo), because as I said on another thread I can't get staying where has a big crowd, since when I was in a big tumult in a soccer arena... it's a case to a psychoanalist, don't you think so??? LOL[:D]

Peace.

Me and my brothers watched that Smothers Brothers show in complete awe, just like all the Ed Sullivan Beatle events. It was an experience!

Experiences like that turned me into a Pavlov's dog [:p] for the next Beatle record or broadcast. Objectivity went out the window. I was, and sometimes still am, one of those pathetic Beatlefreaks that still believe in the myth of "THE BEATLES CAN DO NO WRONG."

Anyone else have this problem?

One weekend 2 or 3 years later on PBS I was watching a British documentary on music (I think it was entitled MUSIC!) and all the sudden it shows The Beatles in the studio actually recording Hey Jude! I did a back flip!! I could hardly believe it, this show had not been promo-ed at all, and yet I caught it on a boring Sunday afternoon.

Got to see a nice CLEAN CLEAR color version of the David Frost performance on the new Anthology DVD. It is flat out awesome.

A more complete version of the Frost HEY JUDE video can be gotten off of Kaaza Lite. It's not the greatest sound quality, but it's more complete than on THE COMPLEAT BEATLES or ANTHOLOGY. I was able to burn it to a disc and it plays on my DVD player!
