It was an interview with Paul. Paul said that.
I personally know nothing about the copyright laws.
There was someone on Paul's board who had the same info and apparently is an copyright attorney and knew all the ins and outs.
I thought that John and Paul lost the rights in 69.
I thought it was when Dick James sold them down the river.????
I'll see if I can't dig up something on it....

i had a vision of the beatles reuniting for a concert in 1979 and in between paul, john and george and ringo's drum kit was yoko laying in a king sized bed. Oh, the humanity !!

Hmm... it makes me think WHAT they(THE BEATLES)are receiving for their song rights?? If any artist releases covers of their songs for an example, won't they receive NONE payments even being the authors??Even not a profit-sharing?? Sorry, 'cos I'm TOTALLY ignorant about this!!

I know for one that as composers of the songs, they MUST receive something everytime their songs are used.
