Wings

Postby Chris Speers » Tue Apr 02, 2002 10:27 pm

Look, i'm 33 and i don't remember the BEatles. I love the Beatles but Paul needs to focus away from the BEatles stuff and start doing stuff from his solo career (Flaming Pie, London Town, Tug of War, MCCartney II, Press to play) and do more stuff from Wings especially Ram and Wild-Life and McCartney. Why can't he do the song everybody wants him to play "Kreen-Akore" and "Momma Miss America"

I agree with Chris. It's like I said in another post, of course I will love to hear The Beatles songs. But it's like he plays the same stuff all the time. I would like to hear more Wings too, but again, he plays the same ones. Yesterday, Can't Buy Me Love, Let It Be, Hey Jude, Band on The Run, Live and Let Die, etc. etc....all great songs of course, but I think Paul needs to incorporate some different ones, as he has been playing those same songs for years. It seems like a whole bunch of us, (not just on this forum, but other people I have spoken with as well), really want to hear/see Paul play some songs from Ram live in concert. Hopefully, Paul will catch wind of this "Ram movement" somehow.

Agreed---Can you imagine Paul playing ANYTHING from that great album? It would be awesome.

You can't imagine just what I've been going through....

The Back Seat Of My Car would be a great live opener . . .

Maybe to the magic keyboard portion. I've love to see him come out there and do Smile Away---the house would explode.

Agree--Smile Away would be a rockin' opener. But I still say a raucous opener would be Rockestra Theme!
