Comparing the Beatles to any musical group is a complete waste of effort. There's "Beatles" and there's everybody else.

The only people who came close to the Beatles were
Presley
Sinatra
James Brown
Miles Davis

That's it - everything else is just below the cut

The new Oasis album is much better than Giants and Be Here Now.... although I think the problem with Be Here Now is that is has quite abit of filler...The reason I can think that Noel would slag off Paul is because Paul has done the same thing to Oasis... in an interview Paul was asked how he felt about Oasis and he basically said that he things that they're a great group but they mean nothing to him, nothing better than the real thing, something along those lines... that's the reason why I think that Noel is pissed with Paul...

I think you hit the nail on the head... some of their songs are really good though... my favourite is the song Be Here Now , although the album wasn't as good as the others this is one hell of a locomoting tune as is Hung In A Bad Place from the new album... in saying that they're still in nappies compared to Paul ...
