Actually the late John Barrett, a balance engineer at Abbey Road, was the man who listened to every Beatles tape and logged every detail.
Then Ken Townsend got Mark to write the book, The Beatles Recording Sessions.
I always call that book Abbey Road, even though it isn't it's name.
I totally agree with you, Chris.
A priceless book.
One of the best on the Beatles. My favorite of Mark's too.
