Albert Hall Tribute Concert to be filmed

Postby Aujouret » Fri Nov 29, 2002 6:23 am

I see in Mike's news section that Mike got a confirmation from Geoff Baker that the Special Tribute concert at Albert Hall is being filmed.
Fantastic. Just think, it is very likely that the concert will one day be available on DVD. How cool as there are so many fantastic acts playing tonight.
I don't know how they do it with these tribute things.
They must concentrate so hard as not to get too emotional.
Great news, Mike.

Did anyone see the photos of the concert?
There were four of the Monty Python guys in tuxes with a long white aprons in front and bare buns in the back.
Ah, George would love that.[:D]
They sang "Sit on My Face" and "The Lumberjack Song".
I am praying for a DVD of that concert.
Billy Preston, Eric, Ravi... and Ringo and Paul too, of course.
Sounds so good.
