I love the ANTHOLOGY despite it's rather unimaginative title. I think the whole box set should have been called WONSAPONATIME. I think they got about 80 percent of this collection right. There are some tracks that really shouldn't be here. The track with Jerry Lewis rambling on and on is stupid. The incomplete songs, like NEW YORK CITY should have been complete, or omitted. The YESTERDAY parody isn't very interesting. I expected it to be funny.

On the positive side, most of this 4 disc set is wonderful.

Disc 1 is brilliant !!!
The POB and Imagine demos/alt takes are fabulous and so is John's voice.
I like the benefit concert tracks on Disc 2, shows that JL should have toured in the 70's but then again it shows that he really did stop being a rock star and more of an activist during that period.

Disc3 has a wonderful version of Nobody Loves You from W&B's. Awesome stuff!!

Disc4 has the DF and M&H out-takes, like somebody mentioned before I'm Losing You tears down the walls it's so powerful. The end of Disc 4 with all the home recordings are fun to listen to but not appropriate, I don't think they should have been on there.

I recommend that any serious JL fan should have it.
