In my humble opinion, Macca IS a rocker, no doubt. His roots came from old R&R, BUT he is an awesome VERSATILE artist so he can do beautiful ballads and love songs as well as hard rock songs with his great talent.

Peace.

Good to hear from you, man![8D]

You're gonna do it on keyboard, Liam? That should be an interesting sound.

more the rock & roll-rock hybrid feel, a la Bryan Adams.

Well, I'm saying Bryan Adams, because I'm gonna be doing the song in a similar vein to one of my own, which is definitely a bit influenced by Adams . . .

The way I'm going to do these songs is as follows. Set up one of the drumming patterns to give it a beat, and try to keep my finger on the pulse to manually provide some driving bass notes, as well as some rockin' chords on the upper end - four chord da-da-da-da at the start of each line, with the bass and the drums driving it through. It would naturally sound better coming from a 3+ piece rock band, but I'm one man doing everything, so I have to improvise!

I'm going to give it a more punchy feel - more the rock & roll-rock hybrid feel, a la Bryan Adams. I shall be using the "E Guitar" voice on my keyboard for this, though.

Just think of Jerry Lee Lewis you guys! A simple piano will do just fine - if you know how to use it!

Worth experimenting, I grant you. I'll get back to you on this. [:)]
