You can't be serious. If you are: She lost by being hit by a police motorcycle around 8-9 years ago in England.

Honest, Steve. I really didnt know. I mean, I just know a lot about Macca and Beatles. And remember i live in Argentina. There is almost no info about Paul, imagine about Heather! And i dont care about gossip. I only knew she had a problem in one leg.
The most official,(trustful is ok?) thing i read about MAcca is the Barry Miles book and there is no Heather stuff.[:(]

I said i didnt care about looking for that kind of info. Im not gonna waste internet hours searching something about Heather. I like her, yeah, but not to the extreme. I once had seen sth about her legs on tv, nothing else.
I found this forum the exact place for asking.
And now I know, Steve already told me...

Grillo: She lost her leg just below her knee in a freak accident when she was crossing the street and got hit by a police motorcyclist. She was already involved in helping amputees in Croatia. She now has many different prostheses - for skiing, rollerblading, dancing, high heels, low heels, etc. And they all look like her leg. Because she lost it below the knee, she has tremendous mobility which is wonderful. She also has a great sense of humor about it - as she told Barbara Walters on 20/20, her leg is not her. And she loves to pop it off and see people's expressions. I think she's a beautiful, intelligent woman inside and out, and a great spokesperson for amputees.
