A-dog, that's a shame. Especially with such a phenomenal album. Oh well, WE know it exists and WE know how magnificent it is, so I guess that's what matters. (Although it wouldn't hurt to give a guy his props either.)
But yeah, J. Buckley drowned in the 'Ole Miss. back in '97. He went to take a quick dip on a hot night after a recording session. The water looked calm on top, but a boat passed by and the underlying current swept him away. His body washed ashore like 3 days later or something. But yeah, the album is magnificent. He was at the time like the 'next big thing'. His voice will give you goosebumps because of the range. It's definitely an album everyone should have in their collection.
