It says on my liner notes to BACK IN THE USSR that Paul selected 13 cuts from these sessions to be released exclusively in the Soviet Union.....The cuts in BOLD are the ones that were added for the US release...curiously, some were DELETED for the US release as well....Note...Paul played Lead Guitar on most of the tracks..and Mick Green, of RDR, particpated on many of the tracks.

So..that's one deletion, 6 new additions, and 2 "version2" songs.

This is one of my "small music store bargin finds," as i refer to them as... I respect what he what he was trying to do here, but I just think it could have been better. "Lucille" in my opinion, was in terrible voice... he just sounds so raspy. On Run Devil Run he sounds so much better and much more clearer.

It's As Simple As That, is that the same song as Simple As That, which appeared on some anti-heroin album? And Tragedy, is that the cold cut?

The European release has 14 songs, the Russian 13. I think it was I'm In Love Again that was only on the European version.

Hang on a minute . . . Tragedy? Is this the Bee Gees' song, or something else?

No...not the BeeGees....I'd never heard of this song before then---recorded with lots of echo and not particularly good.
