New Set List for 2nd Leg (?)

Postby JuniorsFarm » Sun May 19, 2002 2:39 pm

If there is a second leg of the Driving USA tour, what does everyone think of these minor changes to the set? The stars indicate changes. I think it still flows well and is very realistic.

1. Hello, Goodbye
2. Jet
3. All My Loving
4. Getting Better
5. Junior's Farm*
6. Let Me Roll It
7. Lonely Road
8. Your Loving Flame
9. Get Back*

10. Blackbird
11. Every Night
12. For No One *
13. Mother Nature's Son
14. Calico Skies*
15. You Never Give Me Your Money / Carry That Weight
16. No More Lonely Nights*
17. Here Today
18. Something
19. Eleanor Rigby
20. Here, There and Everywhere

21. Band on the Run
22. Back in the USSR
23. Maybe I'm Amazed
24. Flaming Pie*
25. My Love
26. Day Tripper*
27. Freedom
28. Live and Let Die
29. Let It Be
30. Hey Jude

31. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da*
32. Lady Madonna
33. I Saw Her Standing There

I like the changes, although Paul probably wouldn't do JUNIORS FARM because it's not well known enough among the casual fans. DAY TRIPPER is considered more a Lennon song. So I don't think he'd do that one either.

Nice changes, but I doubt Paul would ever do it. He stays pretty rigid when it comes to his setlists. I'm sure it will be the same for the second leg.

Junior's Farm may have gone gold, but it's still not widely known amongst "casual fans." On this tour, Paul is mostly playing the classic radio hits that are still on the radio today. I can't remember the last time hearing Junior's Farm on the radio. But I do agree, it's an excellent song.

Ram1-You never know about changes. I saw Paul in Feb 1990 in Cinti, during the indoor portion of the world tour. Saw him again in the summer in Cleveland. They were nearly identical, but he did make some changes. He added "Let Em In" and the "Help/Strawberry Fields" medley to the outdoor tour. I think he deleted "Aint that a Shame" and one other from the indoor leg. There may have been a few more changes, but I'm way too old and can't remember back that far!

Yes, Flaming Pie would be a delight! That's the year I became a Beatlemaniac ya know.
