quote:You people have no idea of great rock. You gotta buy some of the great bands like Warrant, Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, Kid 'n Play, DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, Slaughter, Skid Row, Mister Mister, and the Buggles. The Beatles are great, but the Stones are better. The Stones have true grit. The Beatles were a little soft. Paul is good though. He rocked on this last tour. The Beatles are great, Stones are the best. Nature Boy has spoken.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Unbelievable. I can't even comment on the above statement. I think we all know how ridiculous that is. Unreal.

Are any modern bands capturing the hearts of an older generation today? Didn't think so. The Beatles were one of the few, if not the only exception to the rule. Age didn't matter because the music was as universal as could be. name an artist that isn't country that is adored by all age groups, and you will have a band with the potential of becoming as big as the beatles. Until then, there will be a large gap between the older listening audience and the younger one. The young macca fans and even beatle fans are in a vast majority. i think the beatles will survive into the next generation, but i don't see them going much past that. unfortunate to say, but in all honesty, it's true. it happened to all the best bands and performers of a particular era... elvis, sinatra, even going back to all the classical composers of the 17th and 18th century. the beatles will be part of a class you can take and learn about how a particular period in music was. And new music will continue to target the impressionable youth as long as there is a gap between the music of the middle-aged and the teengaed.

Yeah, this NB guy is a complete idiot. Just like KK/Fishman, he is just starving for attention. I think his parents didn't hug him or something.

And as for the WOOOOOOO thing, he said his favorite wrestler is the Nature Boy, Ric Flair. I remember when I used to watch wrestling, Flair used to always do the WOOOOOOO thing. But I have to say, it's rather annoying and obnoxious.
