Why, thank you very much, Mr. H. That's the nicest thing someone has said to me in a long time.

Mr. H's backyard but why Candlestick Park? Am I missing something here? I may be smart but I am also very forgetful. What was I saying?

I agree with Mr. H, Girl4. Totally agree.

Although, 1976 wasn't the only time he had an acoustic set. He DID have a segment during his 2002 tour, playing several Beatles and solo tunes, just him and an acoustic guitar, occasionally joined by Wix (he did songs like "Mother Nature's Son," "Every Night," "Something" with just a ukulele, etc.). And he DID tell stories about most of the songs, which was quite endearing. We saw him at what was then the Fleet Center (the new Boston Garden), with seats above the stage, just to the musicians' left0, and we had a pretty good view of Paul from the side, not that far away, and you could tell he was both excited AND nervous being up there without the band. It was a great moment in the show.

well...that's a bit of a joke...see, i pinky swore, sometime ago, to go mostly veggie if paul put on a concert in my backyard...to which you are all invited...as soon as he takes me up on it :-D

i think i added that i'd go totally veggie for a whole year if i got to pick the set list

still...sadly...he knows my name, but does not look up the number...he ain't givin' me a ring...he hadn't called me back, again

how about Macca, and an acoustic guitar ? That's the ticket

stadiums first to get it all sorted out ( I'm serious)

and then smaller venues

holy ***censored***.....and he could do all requests from fans (using a chord teleprompter) etc....the whole catalogue, little chats etc...this one's called "Little Wing Dragonfly" etc etc etc...

I know folks will say it won't make it in stadiums....but I think it would in several, like SF etc etc ( Fenway, Rio De Janero)

Is MPL hiring for folks like me ?

BTW, "one of these days" might have been a really interesting first single off of Macca 2

I think "Little Wing Dragonfly" is a RRS outtake (says the person who called KOTB "Kisses FROM The Bottom").

I think Paul should quit the singalong version of Hey Jude. Instead he should include Mary had a little lamb. Can you Imagine the thunderous sing along. "Now all the ladies sing La La -"And now all the Boys La La- "and now Everybody sing La, La, La, La La- la,la,la,la Mary had a little lamb........
This will be a totally jawdropping experience and a gamechanger in the world of showbusiness. Please Paul do it.

mhnso,

Hey! That sound like it would be a kick. I would like that. Could do with She Loves You. Have the audience sing YEAH, YEAH, YEAH. Be a bit confusing but would be a lot of laughs.
