I (too) believe that both "With A Little Luck" and "Coming Up" are laid out perfectly on the table.
"Hi John, it's only me"....

Paul is putting it out there, a la "come together, right now, over me"

Like when Paul refers to "she said, she said" in 1980 TV interview :cheers 8)

I've always heard the bridge to "This One,"

...What opportunities did we allow to flow by, feeling like the timing wasn't quite right; what kind of magic might have worked if we had stayed calm...

as a subconscious reference to John/The Beatles. Paul no doubt would have said it refers to Linda, but it fits as a statement of regret regarding the reunion that never happened.

Ballroom Dancing sounds like it has Beatles references:
"Well, it went so fast and we all grew up/now the days that passed in the china cup/are the memories of another day/and I wouldn't want to knock it/but it wasn't always such a pretty sight/cause we used to fight like cats and dogs/til we made it up in the ballroom"

Also the semi-autobiographical "You Never Give Me Your Money"

i think, eddie...that we are more musing upon the idea that they might be references....rather than that they actually are references

..who knows...with the advent of lucas' book...maybe some mysteries can be solved...

exactly, Mr. H.

We are using conjecture and projection on a lot of these. We know "Here Today" is about John. Maybe a couple more. But, the others, we're just guessing.

Which is damn fun to do, actually!

BALLROOM DANCING reports memories when Paul and George went to the dancing together. I've reported Paul's statement in my book.
Another one is NO WORDS ("It's only me I love you"); personally I think MONKBERRY MOON DELIGHT could be Paul mimicking John's vocal style from PLASTIC ONO BAND.
MAN WE WAS LONELY maybe has got some references ("singing song that I thought were mine alone..." who knows); BAND ON THE RUN (the "If I ever get out of here" phrase, taken form George) and WE GOT MARRIED (there's another Paul's interview reported in my book) also come to mind.

The solo McCartney recording sessions finally in a book!
