ROBBER'S BALL
COMFORT OF LOVE
A LOVE FOR YOU
YVONNE
SUICIDE
PROMISE TO YOU GIRL
BACK ON MY FEET
INDIA
ODE TO A KOALA BEAR
GROWING UP FALLING DOWN

I no order at all: lovely!
So I stood with a knot in my stomach,
And I gazed at that terrible sight
Of two youngsters concealed in a barrel,
Sucking monkberry moon delight.

Waterspout - Paul McCartney. beatleboybob·46 ... Paul McCartney - Yvonne Very ...

I'm too stupid to post the link properly.

Never understood why he never released this. Would have shot straight to number one in this era. Would have been the perfect follow up to With a Little Luck

Mr. H, excellent suggestion! Now, if only Paulie would peruses these pages...

lobbybobby, "Waterspout" is a great song. I forgot that one. I've never heard a really GOOD master of it. The boots all have a tinny sound. But, actually, the one you posted here sounds better than any I've heard before!

Mattal, the 45 I bought in the early eighties has "Mull of Kintyre" printed boldly on the front of the picture sleeve, with "Girls School" on the back. I've always thought it was a b side. As for "Whole Life", if that's not an obscure track, I don't know what is.

efghij, the 45 I bought when it was RELEASED in the late 70's had "Girls School" as the A-side. Trust me. It was the A-side.

What happened later was, "Mull of Kyntire" took on a life of it's own (esp in Britain), and became a huge hit. Thus, the turnaround a few years later.

Your both right!!!

According to wikipedia it was released as a double a side.

"Mull of Kintyre" was recorded in August 1977 in London, during a break in recording the London Town album caused by Linda McCartney's advanced pregnancy, which led to the departure of Jimmy McCulloch and Joe English from Wings. Bagpipes from Kintyre's local Campbeltown Pipe Band were included as a prominent part of the recording. The recording happened on August 9, 1977, with Paul's vocals and acoustic guitar taped outdoors.[7] "Mull of Kintyre" and "Girls' School" (a rocker that had been previously recorded for London Town) were released as a double A-sided single on 11 November 1977, independently of the album. It was included on the Wings compilation Wings Greatest in 1978, and the UK/Canada version of McCartney's 1987 compilation album, All the Best!.[citation needed]

Well, I knew I was right that "Girls School" was an A-side. Didn't know MOK was also an A-side.

As long as it wasn't B side to Seaside. (which, actually, I kind of like!)

btw..."Girls School" was recorded FOR LONDON TOWN, yet didn't make the cut? You mean, because there were so many BETTER songs on it? Really, Paulie? REALLY?!?!?

He's the greatest, but he really is LOUSY at picking his own album tracks. Geesh!!!!!
