Do you see them as Beatles songs? Are they just as good as Beatles songs?

I like both songs. Okay. Well . . . . all four Beatles sing on both songs, right? John wrote the song but I THINK all had a part in the song someplace, right? Okay. They are Beatles songs. All 4 Beatles are singing on both. Just as good as any of the Beatles songs, depending on the time frame.

So YES I DO see them as Beatles songs and I think they are just as good.

Hi Folks

indeed, these 2 songs embody the Beatles music, mind, spirit, beat and legacy - perfectly.

Masterfully executed, timely, joyous, catchy, deep, spiritual...they overcame huge technological obstacles and did only what the BEATLES could uniquely achieve.

John definitely applauds the effort, and ensuing results, without any doubt.

A finished " Now and Then" would put the icing on an already perfectly baked cake. Let's "have a laugh" more time fellas.

Would have really enjoyed some real airplay over here in the states. Only heard "Real Love" once on the radio....and it sounded particularly fantastic. WOW.

We are all blessed. Thank you Yoko as well !!!

Speaking of Yoko, in the great article I read about these sessions (found on WogBlog), one of the greatest obstacles they had to overcome (according to Jeff Lynn) was the huge amount of tape hiss found on the tape given to them by Yoko, who apparently had given them multi-generation copies of the original demos, thereby ensuring greater difficulty in the recording process!

Paul said on a Jeff Lynn documentary recently that he was so happy with Geoffs work on FAAB and Real Love that he wanted to complete the third song 'Now and then', but George said it was crap!
