I don't think there's any animosity between them, but there might be an awkwardness. You know like those old family reunions where one-time personal dynamics re-assert themselves despite having changed and grown comfortable with a new dynamic. Does that sound plausible?

but, they've worked together from time to time over the last 40 years (starting with the RINGO! album), so, I don't know...yeah...maybe...who knows?

I was wondering if this is going to be ringo and paul playing with the acts that are playing tribute to beatles music.Somehow I don't see Paul and ringo alone on stage doing a few songs on their own.Anyone hear any rumours?

rumors ?

how about....

they're going to, ala 'the anthology, do a meticulously crafted performance of 'carnival of lights' WITH george and john appearing on stage via the magic of cgi-holography made possible by some recently 'found' footage of them actually working on that song !!

...OK...that's a lie...i made it up !!

i hear alot of rumors out here in kansas...like...maybe i have a senska hue-mah...or vampires can walk in the daylight !

you know, I think the most UNDER-rated song on ABBEY ROAD is "I Want You (She's So Heavy)." For a rock and roll/pop band, they play some serious music on that one. Great drumming, great bass playing, tasteful guitar licks, and then the bombast on the fade.

Has anyone ever heard Paul's lead vocal on this? I have it on boot somewhere...wish the quality were better, but it's pretty interesting.

Both Paul and Ringo have said they love the other inlcuding in the recent past. That's enough for me!
Why assume otherwise. \M/

Defo Mattal - anyone who hasn't heard Paul's lead vocal version should have a look. It wipes the floor with the original. The bass is a bit louder too.

JimQ, I do have the bootleg in question and while I think it is interesting and fun to hear, it hardly "wipes the floor" with the original one; no bloody way!
