The US 50th anniversary thread

Postby james1985 » Thu Jan 16, 2014 6:20 pm

It's pretty much here, Beatle people. So here's the thread to share videos, thoughts and (maybe) memories of 50 years ago today, or tomorrow, or yesterday.

I'm going to start off with this from the Washington gig:

McCartney's introduction just makes me laugh so hard every time. Then they absolutely tear through it. Great stuff.
May sweet memories of friends from the past
Always comes to you, when you look for them

I hadn't seen that perf of PPM in years. Wow! They really DO kick butt there. And, Paul's intro is great, yes!
in years to come/they may discover/what the air we breathe and the life we lead are all about/but it won't be soon enough for me

I know what you mean, Mattal, but I had to laugh at your phrasing: perf of PPM. Ha! It took me a second to figure it out.
