Sort of like trying to name all the folks on the Sgt. Pepper cover.

The video is in the style of Give my regards to Broadstreet to my opinion. A bit hanging around in Abbey Road studios.
Looks very low budget despite the celebrities . Doesn't add much to the song. Could have done much better but who am I?
The song is nice but I would have chosen an other one to be the successor of "New". My choice would have been "Alligator".
But lets see what "Queenie Eye '' does in the charts.

Along with McCartney's 15 year renaissance have been terrible, terrible videos (apart from Fine Line). This is no exception!

I don t care much about videos but this one at least got very many hits on the internet(because of the fame factor of course). I guess it s a marketing thing.

I agree that this video does nothing for the song, which is so creative. Videos in general have become a lost art. They actually became a part of the creative process and often took on a life of its own.

As someone mentioned, the itunes animated promo for Dance Tonight was good and I thought Sing the Changes was ok, but it seems Paul is content with just getting out the video.

Maybe what should have been done with the celebs (whom I don't give a flip about) was to have them play the Queenie Eye game. Could have made it funny to have them popping in to join the game

To be honest, I rarely look at any videos- even Macca's. The song-whichever song- is the thing for me. I can't even remember the last time I saw a video and considered whether it be good or not...always about the song with me.

Hi all

I don't mind this video but yes I agree with the majority it is no classic.

I wish Paul would at least sometimes drop the I'm trying to look cool behaviour, primarily when walking on and off a T.V show.

At the end of Queenie eye where he walks from the piano back to the staircase he can't just walk - no, he has to click his fingers, move and groove a bit , perhaps a whistle and not to mention
the staged placing back of the guitar. This kind of 'acting' he also does on interview shows. For me it is obvious and annoying. :?

Sorry I know I'm being picky - I just prefer Paul when he is not putting on a performance.

As for videos, his last true classic in my opinion was BEAUTIFUL NIGHT - that video clip was and remains a work of art!
I wonder why he did a video for Queenie Eye but not NEW?
cheer
JK

P.S. Was beautiful night the last music video to feature Linda and Ringo? If so a very fitting tribute to both these legends. ^:)^
