Yeah, I noticed the Twin Freaks version of "Oh Woman, Oh Why", but I agree with Mr. H on that; it's really a new creation.

Well, here's mine (which I'm actually burning into a CD as I type this):

DANCE TONIGHT
QUEENIE EYE
AT THE MERCY
WHY SO BLUE
MY VALENTINE
SING THE CHANGES
FRIENDS TO GO
ABOUT YOU
APPRECIATE
SUN IS SHINING
MR. BELLAMY
FOLLOW ME
EARLY DAYS
VINTAGE CLOTHES
THAT WAS ME
TURNED OUT
YOUR LOVING FLAME
DANCE TIL WE’RE HIGH
RIDING TO VANITY FAIR
LIFELONG PASSION
CUT ME SOME SLACK
GET ME OUT OF HERE
in years to come/they may discover/what the air we breathe and the life we lead are all about/but it won't be soon enough for me

I love "About You"; glad to see it on your list. It's really underrated.

yes, efgh..., always liked it. It rocks, and the drums are fantastic on it. Maybe not technically perfect, but there is a John Bonham-like power to them, which really drives the song. One of his better solo rockers.

that list, btw, might look different in a week or two...different yet again in a month or two...definitely different in a year or two. There are several songs that I like as much as most of these, but wouldn't fit on an 80 minutes CD (songs like "This Loving Game," "Memory Almost Full," "From A Lover To A Friend," "Lonely Road," "Back In The Sunshine Again," a couple more from Electric Arguments).

mr h atom wrote:yup :-D

still...tis a nice, tight list...very glad to see it start off w/LR :ymapplause:

...hmmm, mayhap replace the out-of-time 'jet' w/RDR ??

:YMPRAY:

...and RTR ??? totally underappreciated, glad to see that, too !!!

while i understand (and love) 'highway...that'd be tough for me...

I just think that version of Jet on Back In the US absolutely kicks. KICKS!

They were bloody good when he came back in 2002. If you compare that album with Good Evening NYC, it's like two different bands.

the set list for GENYC is better than the BITUSA tour. I don't hear the band sounding less good, either.

Mattal, there are a lot of people who say that GENYC is an inferior product, but I don't get it. I'm not sure what they hear when they listen to it, but I guess they feel there is some fakery involved...oh well, to each his own. :-??

Yeah, it's the autotune, bad sound in the stadium. It just sounds weird, almost unlistenable. BITUS is tight, tight tight!
