Thanks Matt - it's always more fun when people agree with each other!

 I was wondering the same thing? Are we missing out on the secret to life? :-? What IS it? What?!?!?!

Macca himself write in his liner notes to the album that they have some songs that will be released on other occasions-sooner or later. Guess secret life of a partygirl belongs to those

Just want to say that I still think New the song is the best Maccapopsong in eons. It s place on the album between Early days and Appreciate is masterful and that trio of songs in a row is really of a quality that can be measured agains anything-even the Beatles

mhnso, enjoying NEW (the song) all over again, and it's probably because of it's placement on the CD, yes. Very nice juxtaposition. And, could you get three more radically different sounding songs strung together on the same album as "Early Days,", "New," and "Appreciate?" It's like Paul's Sgt. Pepper! Actually, if you start with track 4, "Queenie Eye," which is one of the 3-4 best tracks on the album, the variety of "sound" from track 4 thru track 7 is even more amazing.

Fully agreed. And this album is meant to be listened to in its entirety from start to finish. It's that good and in the digital download world you can't often say that anymore.
