I think you might be right, though the chances of him ever having another top 50 single (while he's alive) are probably slim!

I think I might expand on this, and do it as a follow on piece to All The Best, covering the period after Once Upon A Long Ago. Once you've thrown FITD, Flaming Pie, and even Off The Ground in to the mix (not so much Driving Rain!) this could end up pretty stunning, and might even blow away All The Best!

That'll be a fun way to spend my Friday night :-D

Man, its a nice list...although I might replace Anyway with You Tell Me, a brilliantly atmospheric track... \M/
So I stood with a knot in my stomach,
And I gazed at that terrible sight
Of two youngsters concealed in a barrel,
Sucking monkberry moon delight.

No way it blows away Al the Best. These are good songs but in my humble opinion, it's not even close.

Back when I was in a rock band in high school...we had a bassist named Al the Best.
I want to tell her that I love her a lot, but I got to get a belly full of wine.

Was he good? He only played with two strings...and he was still the best.
