Hi everyone

Thinking about this, it ain't easy...
However there are a couple of songs I can almost hear Macca sing..

Don't Let it Bring You Down by Neil Young (maybe NY could do Macca's song of the same title from London Town, haha);
and Something so Right by Paul Simon. A bit random? yeah, but hey why not?

Oh, and Where are We Now by Bowie...great song, and one where Paul's careworn voice may well excel
So I stood with a knot in my stomach,
And I gazed at that terrible sight
Of two youngsters concealed in a barrel,
Sucking monkberry moon delight.

WOW!!!! YES!!!! "Something So Right" is a awesome choice. It's actually one of my personal favorite Paul Simon tunes. Very underrated song if you ask me.

I'll throw another one out there. . . Can you imagine McCartney singing his pal Elvis Costello's Allison?

Tiger- yes, I can really hear Paul singing Alison- it would sound great, with that new careworn creak in his voice. It could be an emotional high, in some ways....

Ok, I've got it! Paul does an album of punk/ new wave songs, but done electronically, with a bit of a M2 approach...yeah?

Going Underground, that Buzzcocks song, London Calling (with the phony Beatlemania line!),
Pretty Vacant, Turning Japanese...
So I stood with a knot in my stomach,
And I gazed at that terrible sight
Of two youngsters concealed in a barrel,
Sucking monkberry moon delight.
