No doubt, Steve. I think that's the thing that impressed me more than anything else at my 4-24-02 show....Paul did not take ONE drink of water onstage the entire night. Amazing.

That is an amazing accomplishment, then. I'm only 20, and I have to regularly have something to drink while performing, to clear my throat!

I think people are going to be disappointed when they hear the live CD in November... Paul's voice is not as good as one thinks it is... My only theory is that on the last two tours, he played mainly stadiums and other open air venues. This last tour has been one of closed air arenas. We'll see in November, I suppose.

RDR--Man, I gotta totally disagree with you. When I saw Paul back in April, his voice was UNBELIEVABLE. I was so blown away. Especially during his acoustic set. Paul's high notes were crystal clear and SOARED.

ABSOLUTELY, Ram1!!! In 1990 and even more in 1993, his voice sounded shredded a half hour into the concert, and he'd never even ATTEMPT some of the stuff he's doing now, IMHO. Here Today and She's Leaving Home are two that come to mind right away. Unreal high clear crisp notes. SOAR is a great way to describe it.

Steve--We definitely think alike, man. Here Today was the first song that came to my mind as well. The "Oooooooooh, here today" part just BLEW me away back in April. Not just because it was obviously great, but also because when I listened to Tug of War later on, I noticed that Paul's vocals on the album version of Here Today (20 years prior), sounded EXACTLY like the performance I heard in April. For a 60 year old guy to be hitting notes EXACTLY like he did when he was 40, that's just...well...amazing.

NO doubt, man. CHILLING stuff, indeed. And--I can't BELIEVE here Today is 20 years old. (TOW, coming off of Macca II, and reuniting him with Martin, was an awesome thing at the time. And---here Today, was, and is my fave song of many on that album.)

I also want to point out that the high notes in Maybe Im Amazed were so good it was scary. That DVD/CD cant come any faster! NOV 19th--get here!! ANd...

RELEASE SHES LEAVING HOME.......[:D]
