i know that, M...i get all that, however...
it bears repeating: mccartney is not the only thing i (and, i'm sure, others) buy/collect/like/ love...and my entertainment budget is often, as are for most, somewhat limited...
for instance..if i over spend on New, i would be unable to buy all the wide variety of things i already consume: today alone, by betting that i can get some
version of New through a local retailer that'll i'll be content with...i took that extra $10 or so and bought 'los super seven - canto' and
the new lee child/jack reacher book for my wife (brownie points !) both of which, by careful shopping, i got for less than retail...
the long 'n short is...while i am sooo
there...it's only up to a point: that measly $6-10 extra depletes immediately
what i can do in other areas
true, as you said (and i alluded to), others are that bad or worse
...but i don't buy that stuff, either...
immersion sets ??? NOT
for instance, personally, i am every bit as much a stephen king fan as i am of mccartney...yet, i do not buy limited editions unless they are the only ones
(the first 4 dark tower books ? the ones we were all told would never, ever appear in any regular format ?? i still
bought the less expensive, everyday trade editions ($20/30-40), not the high priced, spiffed up ones($100/200-500 !!)): put a discounted trade against high priced, tho nifty, special ?? no question at all every time...
i will shop around for the most at the best price not because i am cheap, aw, heck no !!
...but because then i can buy even more, other stuff with the savings !!
ah, well...it's all good...i'll more than live...tain't worth gettin' all hepped up o'er, right
everybody bogey...dig that bogey beat...man, that bogey rhythm...smells so clean 'n sweet
everybody bogey...bogey onto the streets...without bogey music...life is incomplete
