There are different song lists circulating - yesterday I saw one from con cod group with 13 regular tracks and one extra. There are a bit of confusion here that might have to do with marketing policy but another theory is that the final tracklist is not decided. The last theory I doubt because most thing s including album sleeve are probably already produced. Anyway there is a buzz around this album I haven t experienced for a Maccarelease in a very long time. With that considered and adding the facts that it seems like some dj:s and journalists have been offered to hear some tracks it s amazing that not more than this has leaked. Guess the big marketing starts soon - first step is to create a buzz and present a single, second step put the single in a major movie, third step big marketing, aviability to listen to songs etc. Hopefully we soon will be there
And hopefully the album will live up to the hype

Yeah but hypes might have a boomerang effect to. With a certain horror I remember when they made the marketing for of the Ground and compared that album with the Beatles white album. Today I have a feeling that very few people would compare those two albums. Hopefully the NEW album will be a good and enjoyable affair but I very much doubt it will be an album with the significance of Revolver or even Band on the Run. Albuns our hero himself compared it to recently. Perhaps his tongue just slipped or he had a few pints to much because otherwise he really have something to live up to.
Anyway i hope for an album of at least Flaming Pie or Chaos standard that would be enough for me. Not counting KOTB since it is a covers album but I actually think that album is a minor masterpiece within it s genre and Pauls vocal delivery is spot on

realistically...only time (and an abundance of thoughtful discussions) can truly define whether any album will end up being considered to be as good as any of those greats...

but if the new album ends up as good as his recent efforts, KOTB included...then no matter how you slice it (or how much you've had to drink) it'll be a great album, indeed !!

I think comparing any new release to a beatles album completely undermines his entire solo output. it renders it unworthy. and it creates a goal impossible to achieve.
I want to tell her that I love her a lot, but I got to get a belly full of wine.

It's not a bad song. Does it rank with the greatest Beatle song? No. I guess I don't see the need to keep harping about how good or bad it is. Like it great..don't like it great. Let's just hope the rest of the new music pleases everybody. I know it's a Fine Line but these arguments, However Absurd, are getting old. It's as Simple as That!! Hopefully this is The End of the End of that.

11. Looking At Her (produced by Giles Martin)
12. Road (produced by Giles Martin)

Executive Producers: Paul McCartney and Giles Martin
Mixed by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent

Total Running Time: 46:11

Talking about the album, Paul said: “It's funny, when I play people the album they’re surprised it’s me. A lot of the tracks are quite varied and not necessarily in a style you'd recognise as mine. I didn't want it to all sound the same. I really enjoyed making this album. It's always great to get a chance to get into the studio with a bunch of new songs and I was lucky to work with some very cool producers. We had a lot of fun.”

Paul worked on the album with producers Paul Epworth, Mark Ronson, Ethan Johns and Giles Martin.

Commenting on the process, Paul said: “The original idea was to go to a couple of producers whose work I loved, to see who I got on with best - but it turned out I got on with all of them! We made something really different with each producer, so I couldn’t choose and ended up working with all four. We just had a good time in different ways.”

The album was recorded at Henson Recording Studios, Los Angeles; Avatar Studios, New York; Abbey Road Studios, London; Air Studios, London; Wolf Tone Studios, London and Hog Hill Mill, East Sussex
