I want to tell her that I love her a lot, but I got to get a belly full of wine.

Well well well as John Lennon once said
The seventies fashion perhaps was a bit over the top. Personally I prefer to listen to WOA for that reason. Never mind WOA is one great album - one of my favoritesI might even go for the deluxe edition. A nice item to bring with you to the poorhouse were I probably end when Pauls reissueprogramme is finished

still in a complete wait and see on all this...

tho... :-?? i do have a $50 best buy gift card for which i've yet to find a purpose in life

...course...i could easily buy 3, 4 maybe even 5 albums worth of stuff i do not have for the price of one of these souped-up babies...

Well mr H

Don t think it s all that fair to compare one deluxe edition with five rehular albums. The deluxeedition is more like a total experience with books, photographic prints and stuff. For instance mccartney 2 deluxe gave so much more insight and feel both of that album and how it was recorded that I thought were possible. Deluxe ram is in my opinion a piece of art -the photographic prints only will in some time be worth more than the whole edition WOA seems to top all that and might even be a bit over the top. One thing that somehow disappoints me is that they didn t include rockshow. i mean that could have been arranged and the film could still be sold separately. That seems a bit greedy to me. If you go for the deluxe edition you have to spend even more cash to get the full monty.

Listening to it right now, sounds great. Haven't compared it to the old cd, though, I'll play about with that later.

A little gripe – as someone who's been getting the Special Editions so far, the standard edition seems a little half-assed. The book's very thin (eight-ten pages) and there's no little mini essay or anything. And the whole thing's a lot thinner, so it'll look weird when they're all stacked up together. Shame there was no Best Buy-style deal for the UK.
