Love the "My Old Friend" section. That' s one of my faves. Love seeing the connection between the two of them. Thanks for posting.

That was great! I couldn't wipe the smile from my face while watching, exept when the "My Old Friend" part came up. It was touching when Carl mentioned that Linda told him Paul needed that after Paul began weeping and had to step out. Being right after John's death, I can see where a song like that could have a powerful effect. Great post, James! Just when you think you've seen everything... :-BD

By the way, is paul sporting pajama pants in this? :smile:

Nice clip....I think the whole lot was released on the video's "My Old Friend" and "Go Cat Go" way back when.

the moments where it is so obvious the sincerity and high regard Paul has for Carl are awesome. When they begin Matchbox Paul take the backseat initially and the look in his eyes is great. BTW - how many people does Paul concede the front seat to in similar situations???

I don't want to sound sappy but the look of adoration Paul had in his eyes a few times for Carl was, wish I could come up with a great adjective, but it was lovely.

agreed, so I'll ask again, who else would Paul have that honest/true admiration for (relative to himself)?

Also - has Paul ever played My Old Friend in concert? What a great tribute that would be.

You're right, here it is on Amazon. The user review by Ronnie Milsap gives a short backstory. (I don't know if the reviewer is the country singer Ronnie Milsap, probably someone using his name.)
