New version of "Heart of the Country"

Postby Awesoman » Fri Jan 18, 2013 1:21 am

McCartney has recorded a new version of "Heart of the Country":

Here's some insight on the whole shebang:

I wonder how Paul's current wife feels about all the attention given to Linda. Has to be awkward at least to some degree...

However nice this thing is I prefer the original version eight days a week.
Now dear Paulie - release some new material soon my patience is running out.

mr. h atom has a point, I think. I would love to see a Rick Rubin treatment given to some old songs (and some new ones!), and maybe even a cover or two. That little version shows that it would be a pretty cool thing to do. Anyone know if there's a complete version of this song, or if it's just going to stay at 50 secs.?

I've often thought how nice it would be for Paul to revisit some his old material and put a new spin on it.
