You know Johns remastered albums all came at the same time. That was maybe too much??

Yeah, I didn't buy the autograph box. And wasn't the bonus material a bit lame?

Besides, with the Anthology and Acoustic and Menlove Av – what else is there?

I think its great they're spending some time on the ones that need highlighting (i.e. Ram)-

Wings Over America fits this bill

I guess here is what I would see

assuming
May 2013 Wings Over America
Fall 2013 new Macca CD

2014 25th Anniv or Flowers in the Dirt - lots of great Elvis Costello bonus tracks (one would presume)
2015 40th Anniv Venus and Mars
late 2015 Wild life / Red Rose Speedway (release them at the same time)
early 2016 London Town / Back to the Egg (release at same time)
mid 2016 40th Anniv Speed of Sound, 30th Anniv Press To Play
Late 2016 Tug of War and Pipes of Peace
2017 OTG and Flaming Pie
late 2017 ANTHOLOGY
Everyone's talkin' 'bout the President
We all chip in for a bag of cement

Yeah if only Laz could return - the one and only-who thought the red rose speedway meddle was better than Abbey road and most of all - seriously claimed he could write better songs than Paul We need someone like him to stir up some heat here...
or a new album from Macca to discuss
or a setlist to complain about
or a life
well whatever

I don't believe they will re-issue ALL of his albums as deluxe editions....maybe just the major ones. Then we'll get the rest as digi-packs which'll speed things up a bit. Most of the interesting unreleased stuff is being saved over for some anthology type box sets due at the end of the re-issue campaign...that's my take anyway!!
Man I could smell your breath a mile away.
