There were over 100 people at the sound check. VIP fans were treated very well though there was a long wait before they were let into the sound check. While waiting it appeared there was a sound check going. Then after a half hour it was over. It was another 45 minutes before the fans were let into the sound check. Paul showed up first at 5:14pm and then was looking for the other band members who weren't there. They started showing up one by one and Paul joked "this is like a reality show," which got laughs.
Paul bantered back and forth with the fans, thanking the 'small group' for coming. Nobody was brought up on stage. The sound check was over in an hour.

Paul was in great voice and very animated. He read signs in the audience several times and interacted with the crowd. He especially liked one sign from a couple that read -- they named their child Jude because of the song. Paul said that the actor Jude Law was also named after the song.
During "And I Love Her" Rusty messed up the guitar solo. When the song finished Paul said that Rusty never goofs up the solo but did this time and will have to do it over. So he made Rusty do the solo over again.
The band wasn't as tight. Some of the songs like Back In The USSR, Paul kept singing when the chorus was supposed to end. The band looked confused but followed. The same thing happened with Band On The Run.
Paul messed up the lyrics on "The Long And Winding Road" singing "the wild and windy rain" instead of "the wild and windy night".
No fans were brought up on the stage at either the sound check or concert.
During "The Abbey Road Medley" Paul slipped and fell as he ran down from the grand piano. He popped right back up with a smile. After the song he joked about the deliberate mistake that he made during the song.
