You'll love John Wesley Harding. It's one of the best albums of all time IMHO; certainly in Dylan's top 3 for me. Listen to The Ballad of Frankie Lee And Judas Priest. I just adore that song, even though (or perhaps because) I find it so ominous and foreboding.

Bizarrely, NS got in Rolling Stone readers' top 10 Dylan albums list...

John Wesley Harding is a masterpiece - probably a better ALBUM (cohesively) than Highway 61 or Blonde on Blonde.

Nashville Skyline is half a great album - 6-7 brilliant songs, a little filler.

If you haven't yet, you need Bootleg Series Vol. 1 -3 - a great overview.

Highway 61 blew my mind wide open when I was a teenager- truly an awesome lp. John Wesley Harding, while an ok lp, not on the level of Highway...imo, of course.
