The voice of Paul in Yellow Submarine dies

Geoffrey Hughes, who played the voice of Paul in the Yellow Submarine film, has passed away today

Anyone know what other 11 (yes, eleven) parts he played in that film?


Also a popular actor here in the UK as "Eddie Yeates" for several years in Coronation St. in the 70s and 80s, as well as various comedy roles.

I always wished that the Beatles had done their own voices for Yellow Submarine. When I first watched the movie on TV as a child, I thought it was really them. I felt deceived when I found out it wasn't them.

Yes Geoffery Hughes was Onslow on "Keeping Up Appearances". Funny dude.

i know 'keeping up...' from our local PBS stations, all of whom contract individual series from distributors on an individual station-by-station basis...

and at least in my area (the mighty KPTS viewing area, that is), it does seem to have been on forever, james

and i, too, did not realize that 'inslow' was 'paul', either
