I like "Beautiful Boy" so much because the song shows a tenderness to a son that ever moves me...sometimes even makes a tear rolls down of my eye...Yeah, I'm also a sentimental guy sometimes...LOL[:D]

Peace.

Ain't no problem with that, my friend. It takes a REAL man to show his emotions.

Agreed.

The thing that always gets me about Beautiful BOY is the line "I can hardly wait to see you come of age . . ." because of course he never did, and that line makes me want to cry. But for some reason, I seem to be physically incapable of crying . . .

That's gonna make you explode some day, Liam. That's sad. I'm sorry to hear that.

Well, maybe not completely incapable, but tears will leak out at random times - and when I really feel like crying, I never seem capable of it. Except on the very major occasions when it's impossible not to. I guess I just over-disciplined myself with all the bullying that I was on the receiving end of. [:(]

Totally agree with you, man. That line is chilling and just plain sad beyond belief.

Well, it's behind you now, my friend. It's time to move on. Whatever those people did to you, turn it into something positive. Allow it to make you a stronger person. Don't backtrack, keep moving forward.

Understood - I mean, there's bound to be a song or two in it eventually.

Yeah, good songwriters usually come up with good songs in events of extreme happiness and sadness.
