Cd1500rpm, yours is not unusual. I suspect it was intentional, to mimic a matte finish.

if i remember right, at the time, it was mentioned that it was done on purpose to further achieve the effect of an old-style celebrity photo: much like the use of the sepia tint color, the lighting, the hair styles...as well as the stylistic approach of the 'pose' of P & L...all of which, combined, were supposed to give it look much like a glamour shot of bygone days

lovely cover, that...
everybody bogey...dig that bogey beat...man, that bogey rhythm...smells so clean 'n sweet
everybody bogey...bogey onto the streets...without bogey music...life is incomplete

Mr. H,
Now that you mentioned it, I do remember something to that effect. I think the cover is GORGEOUS!! Of course, I think Paul is GORGEOUS too!!

His worst album cover? That would be Memory Almost Full. Oh, look! It's a chair! How quaint! :-|

That's very funny. Considering he got the title from a message on his phone, maybe something with a giant head or something,,,, i don't know .. But I agree, the chair's not the greatest.

Jeremy,

I think I would have liked to have that as an album cover instead of the one that was.
