nice, thanks...kinda makes me wish paulie had let ol' rog take a bit of the lead, eh ?

weller looked either uncomfortable or frikkin' scared.
can you imagine any of us being invited to play guitar on stage with paul and not smiling like we were seeing our 1st naked lady (or, man...don't want to leave the girls out !) ?
never seen him live, so maybe that's his 'way'..but it sure seemed like he couldn't wait to take off the axe.

As I was zipping through videos from Antwerp, I think, or was it Zurich? Either way, I was scanning videos for pix to put in my scrapbook and I came across Get Back from London and I saw Roger come on stage and that was it. It mostly centered on the guitarists and not Roger. Would have liked to have seen more of him singing than Ron Wood hogging the stage, in my humble opinion.

But Get Back was good.

Weller still gets stage fright to this day and confessed only about a year ago to still often being physically sick before a gig.

This isn't usually apparent to the audience, as we know he's a great live performer, but maybe the company he was keeping that night got to him a bit?

Although he's recorded with McCartney before (as the Smokin' Mojo Filters), the only other time I can think that he might have shared a stage with him before would be at the end of Live Aid.

Who cares if he (maybe) remember half the lyrics.
I was seriously.pissed off that this video turned out to just be another McCartney standard run-through of dead-horse.

If you're gonna keep singin it please for the love of all that is good and decent in the world, re-imagine it.
