i have to think there is very little we haven't heard about paul already. and if this were true, we'd have heard it from jimi's camp. or mile's camp (believe it or not, they have their own rabid fan base too)

after all this investigaing, all we have is a copy of a type-written letter? psshh...i can come up with a type-written letter that they asked me to jam with them.

What problem do you have with these telegrams ??? I was skeptic too at first. But there are for real man ! I suppose Apple Records received quite a lot in those days anyway...But this one I "rediscovered" is simply very very special and was totally lost and forgotten. Of course Peter Brown has no memory of it (like Alan Douglas, the producer who most probably sent it to Paul).

I LOVE YOU GUYS. I can always count on you three to cheer me up when I am feeling in a Blue Funk. And not only that, but you three are very knowledgeable about my 'Guy". I cannot find fault with all that you have said.

If true, it would have been announced by Paul's camp at the time. It would have made a great 45 rpm or even a vinly LP. But since nothing transpired, we might be able to say, without a doubt, it was not for "real". Of course, it could have happened and the session was shelved for some odd reason.
