only slightly wrong...this is addressed by both james & my own posts just previous: the hugely, overly expensive 4 disc set does appear to have the original tracks in their original time sequence on, what is it, disc #3 ?

but without (other than) a hugely overly expensive way to check it out (or a complete, side by side comparison by someone very familiar with the original lost mccartney 2 tracks being posted) i guess there is no way to know for sure.

i saw a track listing w/times somewhere and it appears that the 3rd disc is the original times and tracks: this is what i have on my club sandwich version;

side one
front parlour 5:06 (remix/cut to 3:31 for public release)
frozen jap 5:30 (r/c 3:38)
all you horseriders 3:34
blue sway 6:04

side two
temporary secretary 3:05 (slowed down to 3:13)
on the way 3:27 (3:36; not sure if it is slowed, remixed or cut)
mr h atom 2:17
summers day song 3:16 (instrumental)
you know i'll get you baby 3:35
bogey wobble 3:14

side three
darkroom 3:38 (2:18, different mix)
one of these days 3:26 (3:34 !)
secret friend 10:05
bogey music 3;17 (3:25)

side four
check my machine 8:39 (5:44 !!)
waterfalls (i need love) 4;29 (slowed down 4;42)
nobody knows 2;44
coming up 5:26 (3:51; some verses & chorus eliminated, remixed)

all in all...that is $60 to get what should've been on the two disc version to begin with... :-??

Yeah, I agree with Chris. Will this be any better than before? And will any of the remastered be any better than before? Of course, speaking for just me, anything with a DVD I will especially appreciate. But what am I talking about? I don't have ANY remastered albums.

NEVER MIND!!

well...even tho i live in ks., and one of the winning lottery tix did come from the n.e. section of our fair state...it was not i who got that lucky...so, i'm afraid i (probably) won't be buying any remastered 'ram' ...for me or (definately) anyone else!

sorry !

i'm hoping next is 'pipes of peace'...'cause that poor, wee lad needs all the help it can get

Maybe VAM and WATSOS in time for Xmas?
And what's wrong with that?

Anyone heard any more rumour/info about the next issue(s) in the Remaster series?

There was some talk a little while ago that ahead of this Christmas, we would see Venus & Mars, Wings At The Speed Of Sound, and Wings Over America released.

If that is happening then surely it can't be long before it's announced officially!

If he keeps going at this rate, I'll be 70 before all these are out!
And what's wrong with that?
