Craig Finn's solo album, Clear Hearts Full Eyes

Girls -- Father, Son, Holy Ghost. SF outfit. Like every classic rock hook crammed into one LP. Great fun.

Civil Wars -- Barton Hollow. Guy-girl country with a rock, bluesy edge. Joy Williams has a smashing voice

I agree, Mr H. I caught a recent concert of his on PBS a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. He's not that well known probably but he should be.

Just picked up Blunderbuss by Jack White. Highly recommended. His best (IMO) since Satan.

Yep, best thing he's done since GBMS for sure. Some of it is mindblowing, esp the closing track.

wasted light by the foo fighters.
I want to tell her that I love her a lot, but I got to get a belly full of wine.
