Greatest Hits since Wingspan

Postby bravefan » Wed Feb 22, 2012 8:47 am

If we were to see a greatest hits after Winspan, what would you want on it? Right off I can think of a few tunes. Please help me add to these:

My Valentine
Come Home ? (Don't know the official title but I really like it)
Dance Til We're High
Fine Line
This Never Happened Before
Jenny Wren
Dance Tonight
Ever Present Past

does a song have to chart to be a hit?
I want to tell her that I love her a lot, but I got to get a belly full of wine.

I feel like this would have to start where Wingspan left off around 1984, that would leave a lot more material and could easily fill another double album.

I looked at the list of CD's on this sight and their order. Then I came up with the songs I posted. I was just wanting some more ideas.

I always felt the first Wingspan should've been 2 discs from 1970-79. It could have ended with Wonderful Christmastime and Coming Up Live at Glasgow. 2 CDs can fit a good 35 songs and that would've been a nice collection.

A Wingspan 2, or titled something else, could've been released later and covered 1980-89. It would start with McCartney II material. This set would've included Spies Like Us and the single version of Only Love Remains.

Maybe someone has a good answer as to why the origianl Wingspan covered 1970-84.
