Pauls new album "Kisses on the bottom" debuts at number 3 in the uk charts his highest entry since "Flaminpie"
Album continues to do well in I tunes charts around the world were it makes top five in many countries and at present is number one in Japan

Although if this album does too well, it could lead Macca to make another. While almost all of us are very pleased with this album, I assume most of us can agree that we'd much rather have much focus his efforts on a proper album of originals. Whatcha'all think?

Personally, I think he's already thinking of doing another standards album and with this one being so well recieved, it seems inevitable. But I don't think it takes too much of his time considering he seems to leave a lot of the work of producing and playing to others.

I disagree about him wanting to another album of standards. I think he is smart enough to see one album of this sort is enough!

no idea, but...

i walked into the same target i bought my copy last week...and they were nearly sold out !!

there were no copies left in the music section and just 5-6 at one checkout lane...they had at least two areas in the music section set up...but all were gone

I don't think it will be on the US Billboard albums chart until this coming weekend. I think an album debuts on Billboard 1 1/2 to 2 weeks after the release date. I don't know the exact reason why but it's been like that for as long as I can remember.

BIllboard will probaby post it on their website sometime tomorrow afternoon. However according to Hits Daily Double it debuts at number 5 with 74819 copies sold (about 5-10K more than initially estimated). Depending which vendors make up Billboards charts and when they use as a cut-off time, expect it to the about the same.
