I actually feel a bit pissed of not being able to listen to this new song, not being a premim member on Maccas officuak site, no intention to become one either. Have to wait. Don t think Pauls recent voice is THAT bad and his age surely will fit the kind of music he sings on this album

No t ihat I finally heard the song a couple of times I mut say that I am a bit more impressed than Ediie. I actually like the song specially the melody that is simple but very effective, if the sound is an example of the whole album I guess at least I gonna like it because I enjoy this particular genre. Claptons gui tar doesn t make things worse. Macca voice recorded very dry slighltly reminding of Chaos. The voice has aged for sure but that fi t s this kind of music but maybe not the words of the song-the lyrics sure are romantic but a bit to much so for my taste. Anyway I guess Pauls has written another memorable melody in my umble opinion

It's a bit like a Certain Softness...

He's doing what he wants to do. That's fine with me. Looking forward to the album.

And he's 70 furchrissakes! Is he gonna write 14 I'm Downs and release that? I like him sounding his age. And it's a nice song.

Yeah Eddie it s actually Clapton playing the acoustic guitar on this one. Listen carefully and you recognice the sound of Claptons acoustic guitar. This goes to show that Paul is not the only elderly gemtleman gone soft. After some more listening I am sure of my opinion about this song -it s actually a very good one

Thanks Vintage 6.

Correct me if you've heard this one but doesn't "My Valentine" sound reminiscent of "Little Willow"? The guitar is excellent. His voice is mellowing. But he still can sing.

I think this will be a ''nice'' album with songs that sound like till there was you and other soft tracks he has done solo and with the beatles. My only worry is that rock artists tend not to do anymore rock albums especially when the crooner albums sell well.Let's just hope this doesn't happen with sir paul.
