Actually I attended one of Maccas peotryreadings some ten years ago on a visit to GB. Think it was in Norwich or somethinh like that. He had just released hos poetrybook. It was a very inimate setting and some of it was beatiful. some hilarious and some a bit odd. Maxwell Silverhammer is the that stuck in my memory even though I would not call that lyric poetry. But it would be a nice thing on the omgoin tour anyway

I used to know a few of them but as I get older I find I forget a lot of things. But I can recite others.

I never saw a purple cow. I never hope to see one. But I can tell you anyhow I rather see than be one. There are a few more verses but I won't go into them.

but his lyrics were so sappy...

and his beat none too snappy

that our toad turned into a wet sprocket !
