I would love to here him do rocky racoon.I can't beleive he never did this song live its simple for him ,all he needs is a guitar and a bonus it wouldn't be hard on his vocal chords .The only drawback is that he may have to leave out blackbird. But still i think worth the sacrifice.

Maybe he could recite "The Great Gatsby" as Andy Kaufman did one night on SNL back in the day.
And in the end...

A dramatic reading of the Chronicles of Narnia. Hey! If he does Lord of the Rings why not this?

tolkien..pah ! lewis-shmewis !! gagsbee !!

nay...errant ones !!

i once mused, sometime in the past (thus the 'once'), that he should do a quite, small tour reading his poetry, including his interpretations of some of his lyrics.....i saw a clip once of him reading 'maxwells silver hammer'...entrancing and hilarious !!

Atom,

Interesting. His poetry in concert. Accompanied by violins? Oboes? Dressed in black tails and tie and sitting by a fireplace, puffing on a pipe. The accompanist dressed formally too. His band sitting around him dressed appropriately too and nodding occasionally to his musings.

I don't know how well it would be received by fans but it would be an interesting concert to say the least.

Well Paul has worked with Allen Ginsburg, so nothing's too off limits...
And in the end...
