Last Thursday I got to work early, refreshed at 9am and got straight through to 2 b-block tickets on the floor of the O2 in London. They were great seats. Only problem was, they were £111 each. I just can't justify spending that money on a ticket -- to see anyone! It's extortion, pure and simple. Alternative is to pay £70 and sit at the back of an arena -- no thanks.
I think for me now, it's going to be to try and get tickets for the small shows that never happen (for which I would pay anything for), or big outside gigs like Hyde Park last year, where it's all the same price and you can get to the front if you want to.
Arenas suck, in short.
And what's wrong with that?
