hbo's "boardwalk empire" has been every bit as good as advertised.

showtime's "dexter" is also very good...if not as good as last year.

again, showtime's just ended "the big c" was as great a sitcom as i can remember. started out funny, then got so somber and sad. (wow, chris...sounds like a laugh riot)

and although i don't think too many watch it, nbc's 30 rock is the smartest sitcom maybe i have ever seen. it is as if they had a month to hone and perfect every joke on the show.

I love Dexter! Definitely one of the best shows on, but I am still going through season 3 right now. I no longer have a TV provider as I hated wasting that kind of money and now watch everything through Netflix or the internet.

One of the best shows I've ever seen though has to be Pushing Daisies... anyone seen it?

i've seen pushing daisies. it was...colorful. like...tim burton colorful. but it was original. and there is a shortage of real original programming nowadays. too bad it was cancelled just after i discovered it.

add me to the Doctor Who fan club!!!! Although thye new series has lacked some of the emotional pull of the previous with David Tennant as the Doctor and Russell T Davies as overseer.

1. Doctor Who
2. Black Books
3. Q.I

without the BBC would there be any good t.v? And I'm from Australia!
Sadly most Australian t.v is crap. Amercian sitcoms justy don't cut it with me.

What I watched this year, not in any order of favourites:
Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage, Boardwalk Empire, Spartacus, Californication, Episodes, Dexter, Shameless, Stargate Universe, Star Trek re-runs of course, "V"

Tried to watch the Event but it took too long to find out anything and I dislike commercial TV.

What I would like to watch, new Batlestar Galactica, but that's done. Same goes for The Sopranos.

Lots of Boston Bruins hockey as well. As you see I do love my TV, especially HD. You wonder where I find time to coach hockey, and manage these McCartney websites? I wonder that every day.

Yeah, Black Books is hilarious. Too bad they don't make any more.

Justified is pretty entertaining.

An Idiot Abroad was a scream...hope they make another series of that show too.

Showtime's Shameless (borrowed from the BBC) is shocking, horrifying, and utterly hilarious. Just maybe my favorite show of all time. Even the theme song makes me happy.
