Ringo's coming to Europe!

Postby tristanjblythe » Tue Feb 22, 2011 1:02 pm

For those of us European Ringo fans...he's touring here this summer! He'll be in Hamburg in his birthday and is doing a charity gig with Eric Clapton and Bill Wyman and his Rhythm Kings (very expensive) but no other dates confirmed. Reported he's playing Liverpool. Nothing is going to stop me getting to London gig!

See the man himself tell you if you don't believe it: http://ringostarr.com/news.php

If its an All Starr tour who would you want? I' d really like a Ringo solo tour but doubt it. In which case as its his first in this part of the world for a long long long time, he should get back to having truly stellar line-ups. A few names I'd be happy to see share the stage with a Beatle (& seem possible to me): Jack Bruce, Spencer Davies (saw him sing Keep On Running in the Cavern few years back!), Jools Holland, Donovan...oh and that bloke out of Wings.

I'm so excited. Ringo's not playing only Europe, he's coming to Mexico on November 1st for the first time. He´s been here previous times but not for a concert so, finally, I will be able to see him live. Anyone knows how long are his shows? His actual set list? Anything else I should know?

Can't believe I will be in front of a Beatle again!!
We can make it to Mexico City...AGAIN!!!!!

I`m so happy. Today was the pre-sale for Ringo`s concert in Mexico City next November 1st and I got very good seats, I will be at 30 or 40 meters from the stage. Tickets were sold in less than an hour. Anyone of you has seen his actual tour? I read somewhere that he`s not currently singing Octopus's graden, is that true?

What the hell. Is Ringo Starr!! I finally will be able to say that I watched the half of The Beatles!!!!
