When were you most dissapointed with Macca??

Why didn´t he turn up when The Beatles was inducted into Rock Roll of Fame?? He should have been there!!

I must say I didn´t think anything good would come out of working with MJ. Pipes Of Peace was such a let down after Tug Of War.

I must say that Press To Play was a dissapoinment too. I thought Paul was finished, he wasn´t playing live and the albums he was making was average.

But that changed.

MOST DISAPPOINTED IN PAUL MOMENTS
1. Not showing up for R&R Hall of Fame - really missed an opportunity for a grand moment
2. Pipes of Peace - not because of MJ - Say Say Say is a perfectly acceptable pop number - but for basically throwing together all the rejects from Tug of War instead of making a proper album.
3. Live Aid - the mic problem was not his fault, but I think he would have been better served doing 3-4 songs - less than a year later at Prince's Trust he did Get Back w/Tina Turner, I Saw Her Standing There - throw in Let It Be, and the set is that much better.
4. Song selection - Off the Ground - not only did he really miss the boat on song selection by leaving so many great cuts as b-sides (he let the band vote on their favorites), but he actually left quite a bit "in the can" as well - "In Liverpool" was recorded in 1992. Likewise, "Return To Pepperland", "Your School", the Costello track "Tommy's Coming Home" and "Shallow Grave" - all were around in 1992 and all were available for the OTG sessions - he could have had a real comeback record there.
5. The whole Heather thing

Macca hit Rock bottom with "Wings Wild Life", regardless of one pretty good tune ("Tomorrow").
And for not showing up at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

he is an awesome rocker when he wants to be
i like it all..well most of it..[pipes of peace?....hmmm]
but i would have liked to have heard more edgier,harder stuff mixed in with his albums
tunes like helter skelter and monkberry moon delight among others are just treasures
one more little upset
over producing the odd album or two..or three
